After contemplating the development of Squaw Valley and it has become evident, if we are going to compete with the big international destination resorts, especially Heavenly Valley, we are going to need CASINOS. I've thought long and hard about this and it's clear the only place to build is in the meadow on the 5th & 6th fairway. I've taken it upon myself to drawn up plans for the first 5 star grand casino hotel. It'll be constructed of ice and adorned with stalactites and stalagmites, we'll call it The Ice Palace. Because of ice melt during the summer months the Ice Palace Grand Casino will be seasonal and only fully operational during non-drought years; therefore we'll need to construction at least two casinos. The second, and year round casino will be in the likeness of 12 story teepee.

Obviously gaming is illegal in California unless of course the property is owned by Native Americans. We'll sell the meadow to either the Washoe or Puite Indians, draw up a treaty charging them 5% of gross profits, break the treaty and up it to 75%.

I've already sent off the idea; complete with plans, concept drawings, and financial projections; to my pals at KSL, (I'm pretty tight with Eric and what's his name). As of yet I've not received a response but I'm sure they're taking their time, having their team of experts look it over, double checking my figures. I'll keep you posted.
