Chris Whatford  | Home Mountain: Kirkwood

There's a reason why there's only one Silver Bullet Award handed out. You've got to be a bit off your rocker to earn this award and Chris, with his NASCAR mentality, fits the bill. He straight-lines with his hands in his pockets at speeds that make his cheeks flap. Then he hucks one of the longest backflips we've ever seen, narrowly dodging a tree.

The Silver Bullet is awarded to the skier with the best line, crash, trick, or stunt. This year our judges had a tie that they could not break, so they chose two clips. Fortunately they both came from Whatford's ski edit, it's would be difficult to split a BCA avalanche airbag in half, so no need to share, Chris this award is all yours.
