Meet Lylah, a Squaw Valley Far West ski racer and second year Granite Chief Scholarship Athlete.  After a successful 2018-19 season where Lylah made it to Regionals in Big Sky, Montana, this 13-year-old has set some hefty goals for this ski season. Training this season as a U14, Lylah hopes to improve her slalom skiing, with hopes of making it to the Whistler Cup. Her drive and competitive nature have caught the attention of coaches and her teammates. These qualities are what brought us to select her in our scholarship program. We'll take care of her gear, our ski partners provide equipment and all Lylah has to do is focus on skiing.

When asked what her favorite part about skiing is, Lylah answered "being out on the mountain with my friends and coaches."  Seen above is Lylah with some of her friends while training at Masters Ski Camp at Copper Mt. earlier this season.

We are super stoked to have Lylah on our team again this season and look forward to following her success!
