Get your cameras out and your editing brains ready because Shreddit Showdown is back!! The sickest, sweetest, ski movie contest in the Sierras with lots of $$$$ in prizes! And yes, you don't have to live in Truckee-Tahoe to enter, the Shreddit Showdown is open to all amateur filmmakers in the US.
No wonder is it the coolest contest, with three divisions, adult, teen, and grom, we're leaving no one out. Did we mention prizes? Check it out...
In each division, there will be 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and the People's Choice Award handed out to the winning ski edits.
1st Place | Blizzard Rustler, Sheeva, or Rustler Team Skis and Marker Bindings
2nd Place | Adult and Teen: Flylow Ski Jacket and Ski Pant | Grom: Helly Hansen Ski Jacket and Ski Pant
Winner's Choice, yep, you pick your kit!
3rd Place | Adult, Teen, and Grom: Smith Helmet and Goggle
You choose the gear!
People's Choice | in each category, Adult, Teen, and Grom a Snow Eagle Heated Boot Bag
The Silver Bullet Award | There's only one winner here. Our judges will pick the skier with that skied the Best Line, Best Crash, or the Best Trick and hand out the coveted Silver Bullet Award. The prize a Backcountry Access Avalanche Beacon.
Best Comedy Award | There is only one winner here as well. Our judges will choose the video that had them rolling on the floor laughing. The prize here is a pair of Lange Ski boots of your choosing!
Once we've got our winners, we'll play the movies on the big screen at the Shreddie Awards Ceremony. The Shreddie Awards night is a big event. Every year it's a packed house, so get there early, grab a beer, mingle with friends, and find a seat.
As a spectator, you could be a winner too. We'll give you one free raffle ticket, but you'll probably want to buy more. The raffle prizes are almost as impressive as the Shreddie prizes.
When we wrap up the Shreddie Awards, join us for the after-party at Alibi Ale Works.
