Kathryn does an excellent job of including the best hikes in the Truckee/Tahoe area. Each one includes directions on how to get to them and nice descriptions as to what you can expect. She also rates all the hikes on a scale from 1-10 for their challenge difficulty and how scenic they are. This is an easy way for you to decide which hike might be best for your next adventure!
