Yup, that's right. Here in Tahoe we got an extra special present this year...Snow! And, its not even Halloween yet, let alone Christmas. Any time mother nature decides to share some goodness this early in the season snow humans everywhere rejoice. And when mother nature shares copious amounts allowing for full blown winter turns, well, snow humans just about lose their sh!t! Enjoy some of the photos of October snow below:

Yes, yes it was snowing. A lot. So much so that tracks drifted in between laps at times!
Mmm...Beef Chips
And that jerky left over in the backcountry bag from last season, yeah it has morphed into a delectable and rarely found Beef Chip!
Yes, it twas a bit like winter out there
Definitely not a sad thing to have to go skiing in October!
October snow? Yes please! October snow with friends? Even Better!! Hopefully this is a patter that is going to remain throughout the season, making up for a rather sparse winter last year. It's not just Tahoe trending with this favorable snow...Utah, Colorado, Wyoming...the snow is starting to fly everywhere! Get those skis waxed and those smiles on, winter is back!!
