Swix CH7 is a great hydrocarbon wax that is very useful because it falls in the middle of the Swix wax system.  A benefit of this is that CH7 makes a great basecoat wax for warmer or colder days because it bonds nicely to either warmer or colder waxes applied later.  Swix CH7 should be on everybody's wax shelf because it is often useful throughout the entire season, and the price is hard to beat.
